On 6-8 January 2015 the NET Foundation had the opportunity to welcome 14 visitors from 3 private development organizations working on welfare and savings from Phanom Penh, Cambodia, including
PYD Cambodia, Cambodian NTFP Development Organization (CANDO), and Indigenous Community
Support Organization-ICSO, to study on community welfare, savings, and self-dependency of the
community organization groups, 3 private development organizations in Surin, including Credit Union Cooperatives, Tambon Tra Saeng, Amphoe Mueang, Surin, growing from the development work and upgrading to the community finance instifute, Woman group, Tambon Ta Ong, Amphoe Mueang, and
the group of community processing products for self-dependency, and Tabal Phrai Center,
Amphoe Mueang, a private development organization to work on promotion of growing and processing native medicinal herbs.
